Author Guidelines

-          Any current undergraduate or recently graduated student (within the last 12 months) attending any university program may submit scholarly, original works for publication.

-          Publications must have a clear, authoritative thesis statement presenting a logical argument.

-          We strongly recommend and encourage manuscripts between 2500 and 5000 words, maximum, not including references, tables, figures, footnotes and legends.

-          All manuscripts require a cover page in APA format that includes a running head, title, name of author(s), and affiliations. Author notes and five keywords should appear at the bottom of the cover page. (Once again, this cover page will be stripped from the manuscript during the review process). Cover page should also include contact information: address, email, and phone number for the author to whom all correspondence should be directed.

-          All manuscripts require a 150 word maximum abstract.

-          Manuscripts are encouraged to adhere as closely as possible to APA format, but some leniency is acceptable to accommodate other disciplinary formats, in consultation with the editor.

-          Manuscripts must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents. All tables, figures, and graphs, etc. must be in Microsoft programs, for example, graphs are submitted as Excel spreadsheets, and figures should be in Word. Jpg files should also be appended to the manuscript at the end.

-          All questions, comments, or clarifications should be directed to the editor of the journal.
